Formscan By Alan Magee - The Willie Mullins yard appears to be striking top form at the right time with a double at each of the last three Irish jump meetings and UP FOR REVIEW could provide a rare Irish win in this competitive handicap. The Presenting gelding raced far too keenly when disappointing on his previous two visits here in the bumper and the Albert Bartlett. He was off the course for two years before sent chasing last spring, and made a very encouraging reappearance this term when third to stablemate Invitation Only in the Thyestes at Gowran Park. Lack of a recent run seemed to just tell in the closing stages and he should be cherry ripe for this. Coo Star Sivola won this race 12 months ago and, while not coming into this in anything like the same form, is rated just 3lb higher. Vintage Clouds, Beware The Bear and Singlefarmpayment also ran well in the Ultima last year and perhaps Beware The Bear, who lost his place at a vital stage last year but impressed in first time blinkers here on New Year’s Day, may now prove the pick. Give Me A Copper has been well tipped up by his in-form trainer in the run up to the Festival, and is reported to have done well since his reappearance off a lengthy break at Sandown last month. Minella Rocco beat all bar Sizing John in the Gold Cup just two years ago, and if coming back to anything like that form would obviously be well-treated off a mark of 152.
