Sent off favourite on that occasion, the Tim Doyle-trained gelding was still in contention when badly hampered after the second last. Only for that interference, he may well have finished ahead of the Patrick Griffin-trained runner-up. Following a confidence boosting run in a winners' race last time, the gelding should open his account here. The aforementioned We're Back Again is entitled to improve sufficiently from that promising debut effort to be the main danger. If none the worse for his recent fall at Down Royal, bumper winner Big Dee should be competitive.
