Formscan By Alan Magee - COMMANCHE BRAVE had Winter Bonfire about three lengths behind, with Montpellier Green and Lost President further adrift, when a promising fourth on debut behind Ides Of March at the Curragh last month, and the form of that 19-runner maiden has worked out well since. Aston Value cost 72,000 pounds as a yearling and is a half-brother to three winners including the speedy Deep Intrigue, while the Kieren Cotter-trained pair City Pass and Lily’s Magic both have strong jockey bookings. Ohmali is by speedy first-season sire Sands Of Mali but her dam won over 1m4f.
