Formscan By Gary Carson - A tricky looking contest and 2018 Cheltenham bumper winner RELEGATE is an interesting contender on her first start for Colm Murphy. She could be very nicely treated on her handicap debut off a mark of 130. The daughter of Flemensfirth was last seen finishing a running on fifth in Grade 1 company over timber at the Dublin Racing festival last year. She would have been third in another couple of strides then having failed to travel and jump with any fluency early on over two-miles-six. There looks more to come from her over timber and if she's straight enough for this it could be a nice starting point. Bothar Dubh has been very consistent and it was a good run to finish third to Kilfenora in a competitive heat at Naas back in November. After a little break he could be a big player here. Royal Thief is tried with cheek-pieces now after a game performance to win at Thurles last time and there is scope for further improvement from him.
