THE XENON WORKPLACE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2) Permission was given for Caballo Grande (GB), Factual (IRE) and King Of Thunder (GB) to wear a red hood to post, and for Cool Molly (IRE) to go to post early wearing a red hood.
The Stewards considered an application from Tom Marquand to fulfil his riding engagements after forgoing his mount in race 2.
Having heard his evidence, the Stewards granted him permission to ride in races 6 and 7.
Utmost Good Faith (GB) ran freely to post.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference 1½ furlongs out, when Factual (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Oisin Murphy, interfered with Moonfall (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Ryan Moore.
Murphy was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift right-handed, causing Moore to take a momentary check.
