Jason Watson, who had been declared to ride Up The Anti (IRE), trained by Tony Carroll, had refused to do so after weighing out.

Watson’s explanation that he had concerns over how the filly was moving on the way to post and that he was not prepared to ride it was accepted.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong out, involving Sioux Warrior (IRE), placed third, ridden by Joe Leavy and Phoenix Beach (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Kieran O’Neill.
Leavy was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left- handed under a right-handed drive without sufficient correction, causing O’Neill to take a check.
