An I.N.H. flat race for four years old and upwards that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles) and which have been placed first, second, third or fourth in a Point-to-Point steeplechase in Ireland or run in two or more Point-to-Point steeplechases in Ireland between 4th October, 2025 and 17th May, 2026
Weights - 4-y-o 11st 8lbs 5-y-o and up 12st. Mares allowed 7lbs.
Riders - Confined to Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52. Allowances - (which are not cumulative, up to and including 18th May). Riders who have not ridden the winner of a *race allowed..........4lb; Those who have not ridden the winners of 5 *races allowed........2lb; No allowance to riders under Rule 52 may be claimed. *Including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing. All horses running in this race must hold a current Hunters Certificate. A Hunter Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2025/2026 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Offices of the I.N.H.S. Committee, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 15th May or the horse will not be qualified to start. The IHRB have suspended the relevant part of Rule 78 to enable horses which run in this race (excluding the winner) to retain their Hunters Certificate for the remainder of the 2025/2026 season.
