The Raceday Stewards received notification from Horse Racing Ireland that Khrisma will carry 10-12 (152) instead of 11-2 (159) in this race due to an administrative error at the entry stage
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Runcok (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs of delayed recovery post race
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Between Friends, ridden by S.D. Torrens, and trained by E. Bolger. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. S.D. Torrens, stated that his instructions were to settle his mount in the second half of the field, get her jumping and to ride her to come home.He also stated that his mount was flat out most of the way and was only staying on past beaten horses. E
Bolger confirmed the instructions and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations given
