Permission was given for Desert Falcon (IRE) to wear a red hood to post, and for Supreme King (IRE) to go to post early.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, when the winner Desert Falcon (IRE), ridden by Ryan Sexton, interfered with Soldiers Star (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Harry Davies.
The interference was found to be accidental in that as Sexton drifted left towards the rail, the free running Soldiers Star (IRE) in first time visors took hold and ran into heels, causing Davies to have to take a check.
Following the race, Stevie Donohoe reported that Eagle Day (IRE), unplaced, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and was slowly away.
Harry Davies reported that Soldiers Star (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
