The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the home straight involving Snowballs, ridden by N.M. Crosse, placed fifth, Titan Sun, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, and Sci Fi, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, placed fourth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M. Crosse stated that his mount shifted slightly right but he corrected him immediately. R.C. Colgan stated that his mount was reluctant to go through the gap and he overexaggerated his movement. D. Browne McMonagle stated that he received a slight bump from his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted
