The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Only Spoofing, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed third, El Fontenaro, ridden by R.P. Whelan, unplaced, Platino Bianco, ridden by R. Whearty, unplaced, Livingston Range, ridden by K.G. Kennedy, unplaced, and Whatswrongnow, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fourth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. J.A. Heffernan said was not involved as he was in front of the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
C.T. Keane, rider of Lismacbryan, trained by P.Cluskey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right in the closing stages
