The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two furlongs from home involving Mary Shoelaces, ridden by Jessica O'Gorman, placed fourth, Titan Sun, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced and Happy Henry, ridden by N.M. Crosse, placed sixth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Jessica O'Gorman stated that she felt the horse in front move across into her running line. R.C. Colgan stated that Mary Shoelaces came across him. N.M. Crosse stated that his mount hung left but he corrected immediately and was clear of the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Jessica O'Gorman, was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly, and having considered her clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended her for two racedays
R.P. Cleary, rider of Step Back In Time, trained by Chris Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right
N.M. Crosse, rider of Happy Henry, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure
