The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Red Secret (CAN), ridden by J. Smith, placed fourth, and Southgate Avenue, ridden by Niall Moore, placed third, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, C.G. O'Dwyer, rider of Arnacoeur (FR), trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount can be very free and has to be ridden detached from the field to get it to settle and he was ridden the same way last time out when he won.
