An enquiry was held to consider two pieces of interference approximately ½ a furlong out involving Bold Suitor (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Georgia Dobie; SAM’S HOPE, placed second, ridden by William Carson and Coconut Bay (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Kaiya Fraser.
The first incident was found to be accidental in that the tiring Bold Suitor (GB) hung quickly right-handed before being swiftly corrected, slightly intimidating SAM’S HOPE off its intended line.
In the second piece of interference the Stewards cautioned Carson for careless riding as he took insufficient steps to correct his mount, which had continued to drift right-handed carrying Coconut Bay (GB) off its intended line.
Following the race, Georgia Dobie reported that Bold Suitor (GB), placed fourth, ran too free.
