THE RACING TO SCHOOL CELEBRATING 25 YEARS MARES' HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 5) Permission was given for Innisfree Pearl (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The representative of Lucy Wadham reported that that he had been unable to fit the declared tongue strap to Abbey Law (GB).
Permission was given for the mare to run without the tongue strap.
Following the race, the representative of Lucy Wadham reported that in their opinion, running without the tongue strap had not materially affected the performance of the mare.
The winner, Shesonnet (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield on 21 December 2025 where the mare was pulled up in a field of seven runners.
Ben Case explained that Shesonnet (IRE) appreciated a return to quicker ground on this occasion, her handicap debut.
His explanation was noted.
Following the race, Lorcan Williams reported that Jlow (IRE), which was pulled up, ran too freely and hung right-handed.
