The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Runaway Rosie, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Mr D. Clarke, rider of Hope And Mercy, trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount seemed to take a false step causing him to lose an iron and be unseated
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr T.A. Halford, rider of Maximillian Lady, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr. T.A. Halford stated that he was unaware he was clear and felt her tire on the uphill finish. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards reminded Mr. T.A. Halford of his responsibilities under the provisions of R.10.3(C) (the hitting of a horse when it is clearly winning ) and took no further action
Mr D. Doyle, rider of Katdezire (FR), trained by S. Curling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout
