The Raceday Stewards interviewed E.McNamara, trainer of Huscari and G.B. Noonan, rider, concerning the fact that on mounting they failed to proceed around the parade ring as set in the provisions of Regulation sixteen
Evidence was heard from the trainer and rider concerned. E. McNamara stated his charge had given problems at the start before and wanted her to take a lead if possible. G.B. Noonan stated that he was at pains not to be last to the start and did not feel he caused any issues to any other runner. Having viewed the recording and considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards reminded both trainer and rider of their responsibilities under Regulation sixteen in the future.
