The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances whereby Candidly and Fitzroy Gardens, both trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, entered the parade ring with the incorrect saddles and therefore had to be resaddled
Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that it was down to human error and apologised. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Donnacha Aidan O'Brien was in breach of Rule 148(i) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they fined him five hundred euro.
