The Raceday Stewards interviewed G. Brouder, rider of General Clermont (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted and apologised for his whip use. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for two racedays.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 0-100 Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won. Riders - Confined to Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the allowance under Rule 52.
