The Raceday Stewards enquired into the falls of Marvel Star, ridden by Mr. T. Hamilton and Dukeboxjenny, ridden by Mr. J.W. Hendrick, who both fell on the flat in this race approximately four furlongs from the finish. Mr
J.W. Hendrick stated that his mount sustained an injury which caused it to fall. Mr. T. Hamilton stated that his mount became disunited when avoiding Dukeboxjenny and stumbled thereafter causing his mount to fall. Having considered the matter and viewed a recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
