The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Annamix (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Big Interest, trained by D.M. Christie, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost the right front shoe, but was otherwise found to be post race normal

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Early Doors (FR), trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a left front shoe, but was otherwise found to be post race normal

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr B.T. Stone, rider of Step Up Son, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had failed to give his mount sufficient time to respond to the whip between strikes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr B.T. Stone to have been in breach of Regulation 10.3.(i) (time to respond) and having considered his clean record they suspended him for two racedays

A steeplechase for ] Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have between 25th September, 2021 and 3rd March, 2025 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point-to-Point Steeplechase in Ireland or Great Britain or in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland or Great Britain and that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing since 1st March, 2024 other than a Certified Hunters Steeplechase or a Farmers Race
Weights - 5-y-o 11st 10lbs 6-y-o and up 12st Mares allowed 7lbs
Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. ? A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2024/2025 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Office of the INHSC, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 3rd March, 2025 or the horse will not be qualified to start. In the case of horses from Great Britain, Hunters Certificates must have been duly registered at the Racing Calendar Office. The IHRB have modified the relevant Rules to permit horses for which Hunters Certificates have been registered and which are eligible to run in Hunters Steeplechases in Great Britain to run in this race. However, horses with a Hunters Certificate that have run in any race other than a Hunters Steeplechase since 1st December, 2024 are excluded. A person who is registered as a current Keeper with the British Horseracing Authority may enter and run a horse in this race. The Cup to be held by the owner of the winner who must give a guarantee (in writing) for the safe keeping and return of the Cup to the Secretary on or before 28th February, 2025.
