The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Royal Rhyme, trained by K.R.Burke (in GB), at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately five furlongs from home involving Omni Man, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, and Carolina Jetstream (GB), ridden by D. Egan, where it appeared Omni Man ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. M. Sheridan stated that he was trying to settle his mount when things got a bit tight. D. Egan stated that his mount was keen and when the pace steadied his mount switched leads and moved out slightly opening a gap on his inner but not enough room for a horse. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
