The Raceday Stewards interviewed G.M. Ryan, rider of Kensington Lane, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from the rider who accepted he had maneuvred to the rail before the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for one raceday
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Magny Cours, ridden by Ben Coen, placed fifth, and Smexy, ridden by James Ryan, placed sixth, where it appeared contact was made between the two horses. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen said his mount leaned left for a stride but he correct her immediately. J.J.G. Ryan said he received slight pressure from his right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kensington Lane, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
