Her pedigrees are very good and she told me that this horse wasn't a commercial sales horse because he wasn't hugely big, so she offered me to get involved. We went from there and it is fantastic to get a winner with my first horse for Julie. To have an overseas owner having a winner in Ireland is fantastic. We'll keep him handicap hurdling now and we could look at a four-year-old handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe later this year. I thought he wanted a trip but Darragh (O'Keeffe) suggested we drop him back in trip, having ridden him the last day. An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (110 = 12st) Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won. Riders - 1. Lady Riders who hold a Professional Licence under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim an allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 19th July). 2. Lady Riders who hold a Professional Licence under National Hunt Rules to ride in hurdle races issued by any Recognised Turf Authority who have not ridden 60 winners or more (up to and including 19th July). 3. Lady Riders who hold a Qualified Riders Permit Category ''C'' to ride under I.N.H.S. Rules. 4. Lady Riders who hold a Permit to ride in hurdle races against Professional Riders issued by any other Recognised Turf Authority. The IHRB have suspended the relevant parts of Rule 135 for the purposes of this race. Allowances - (up to and including 19th July and which are not cumulative). Riders who have not ridden 3 *winners allowed..........7lb; Riders who have not ridden 20 *winners allowed..........4lb; Riders who have not ridden 30 *winners allowed..........2lb. No allowance to riders under Rule 52 may be claimed. *Including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing.
