S.T. McCullagh, rider of Battleforsupremacy, trained by Daniel McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run in the straight and clipped a heel
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Battleforsupremacy, ridden by S.T
McCullagh, Pivotal Terms (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, Plushy, ridden by J. Kearney, and Royal County Glory, ridden by J. Pietropaolo where it appeared Battleforsupremacy clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.T. McCullagh stated that he had nowhere to go in the straight and caught a heel a furlong and a half down. L.T. McAteer stated that the interference happened in front of him. J. Kearney stated that his race was run and he received pressure from his outside. J. Pietropaolo stated that his mount shied away from the whip and he tried to correct him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
