THE MURRAYSHALL COUNTRY ESTATE MARES' MAIDEN HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) (GBB RACE) Permission was given for Kaydence (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
Nufinbutdatruth (GB) was kicked at the start by another runner.
Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon, the mare was deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after jumping the final hurdle, involving Frankies Fortune (IRE), placed second, ridden by Alan Doyle, and Kaydence (GB), placed third, ridden by Sean Bowen.
Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction carrying Kaydence (GB) slightly off its intended line.
Following the race, Patrick Wadge reported that Hunters Spring (GB), which was pulled up, did not jump fluently, the Veterinary Officer reported that the mare had sustained an overreach to its left-fore.
The representative of Olly Murphy reported that KAYLA’S FRIEND (IRE), unplaced, made a respiratory noise.
