Permission was given for Borodale (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Ciaran Gethings, the rider of Wise Guy (FR), had fallen when slipping on the bend into the back straight on the second circuit which in turn brought down Borodale (IRE) ridden by Sean Bowen.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found to be accidental and was caused by Wise Guy (FR) slipping over.
Following the race, Ben Poste reported that Largy Ray (IRE), placed fourth, slipped on the bend leaving the back straight.
