The Dermot McLoughlin-trained gelding has shown his best form on good ground over this trip, notably clear of the remainder when beating all bar favourite New Ross at Punchestown last time. Grangeclare Native would take beating if reproducing his head second to Joshua Webb over this trip in a 20-runner Navan maiden last November. However, he’s proved disappointing since including when soundly beaten in a Cork handicap last month. One For Joe stays well and beat all bar Desire De Joie over three miles at Sligo. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market following a break of over six months.
