The Johnny Levins-trained three-year-old did very well to win, as he was short of room at a critical point in the race. Staying on strongly once in the clear, the U S Navy Flag gelding should be capable of defying his rise. With the form of her two most recent starts having been boosted in the interim, Lisabetta is a definite contender. Tim Doyle's mare has never won off a mark this high but Wayne Hassett is able to claim a valuable 5lb. Curragh fourth Nibras Rainbow didn't enjoy the run of the race on that occasion, so is another with a strong chance.
