Formscan By Mark Nunan - Runner-up six times in his last seven starts, IN THE TRENCHES is given another chance to get off the mark. He had Empire Succes eight lengths back in fifth when doing little wrong in first-time cheekpieces at Wexford last time and the filly that beat him has scored on the Flat since. Saint Le Fort showed promise in a winter maiden at Punchestown before being placed in a bumper when last seen in March. Lord Raven, from a predominantly jumping yard, has shown plenty of ability on the Flat and is one to consider on hurdling debut while Native Sparkle, whose dam was a dual bumper winner for her trainer Barry Connell, is a newcomer to note.%A0
