The War Front filly is certainly bred in the purple being out of Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Maybe, and that makes the selection a half-sister to Saxon Warrior who was a Group 1 winning juvenile before going on to land the 2000 Guineas for the same connections at Newmarket in 2018. Aidan O’Brien’s newcomers invariably progress from an initial run and it will be interesting to see how strong she is in the market. Jim Bolger won the only two-year-old turf maiden so far this year when Poetic Flare scored here before the lockdown in March, and that will give the Coolcullen maestro some guidance to the relative merits of Allagar. Riding arrangements also suggest Nimbostratus and Roses Blue, a Jessica Harrington-trained filly bought for 300,000 as a foal by Moyglare Stud Farm, are ones to watch along with Aloha Star and Dense Star.
