Formscan By Alan Magee - PORTA FORTUNA is well suited by a sound surface and has progressed well this season. The Donnacha O’Brien-trained filly was just denied in the Qipco 1000 Guineas but went one better in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot before following up in great style in the Falmouth at Newmarket, with Rogue Millennium four lengths back in third. Fallen Angel bounced back from a below par effort in the Guineas at Newmarket by making all for an impressive win in the Irish equivalent at the Curragh but has been sidelined since through injury. Soprano deserves a crack at this level after a convincing Group 3 win at Deauville last month.
