Formscan By Alan Magee - GENERAL CLERMONT won this race last year and has bright prospects of following up as the in-form gelding reverts to hurdles. The selection has won two of his last three starts over fences and impressed when successful over this trip at Wexford earlier this month. Burru rates a threat having made the frame on his latest two starts both over this distance, while The Vegas Raider is another to consider after winning at Ballinrobe last time and the booking of Alex Harvey adds to confidence. Course and distance winner Vale Of Glory should benefit from his reappearance at Kilbeggan while Craic Eile and Swelltime are also on the shortlist.
