Formscan By Tom Weekes - ROWDY has yet to win from 10 lifetime starts but seems a progressive five-year-old who ran well over today’s distance at Cork recently. Well suited by testing ground, the selection was narrowly beaten at Cork where he finished ahead of many rivals, and a reproduction would give him every chance from 4lb higher. Torps is also suited by heavy-ground and has run well here twice in recent months, albeit the form of those maidens is not outstanding. He steps up in distance for the first time and should compete. Dual chase-winner Midweek Voices finished nicely behind the selection at Cork but should improve from that effort, which was his first run for 269 days.
