Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - I’m still not convinced by her hurdling but RELEGATE gets the nod nonetheless. In fairness to the Flemensfirth mare, there wasn’t much wrong with her jumping on debut for Colm Murphy at Punchestown in February. Even on that occasion though, she didn’t have a cut at the last, and it’ll be interesting to see how Paul Townend gets on aboard the seven-year-old as he takes the reins on her for the first time in a race. Last year's winner, Sire Du Berlais, is not without a chance despite his top-weight burden. Blinkers are an interesting addition for him. That fellow's stable companion The Storyteller is another to keep in mind. Many look capable of taking a hand, and as always in races such as this I like to keep the J P McManus runners on side. He has five, including the aforementioned Sire Du Berlais.
