Formscan By John O'Riordan - IRISH PANTHER, who was placed on all three bumper runs last season, may be good enough to make a winning debut over hurdles. A former point-to-point runner-up, the Edward O'Grady-trained gelding ran a big race on his rules debut at Leopardstown last Christmas before failing to justify favouritism on his next start. However, in hindsight, that Punchestown third worked out quite well. Power Hour, who holds a handicap rating of 109, sets the standard. The Ocovango gelding has acquired invaluable experience in four starts, which includes two placings. Harveys Point, runner-up on his only appearance to date, has to be of interest on his first start for trainer Colm Murphy. Any market support for the five-year-old should be noted.
