The Noel Meade-trained gelding handled decent ground well when completing a hat-trick last season, and seems to be progressing over fences judged by his latest effort in a valuable handicap at Fairyhouse when fourth to Nearly Nama’d. Bobbie’s Diamond is held on that run but is one that could come alive in the market. Dysios and Lake Takapuna have won the latest two renewals of this race. Indeed the former only went down by a length and a half when bidding to win it for the second successive year last Christmas, and won in decisive fashion on his penultimate start over hurdles at Gowran Park. Blast Of Koeman and Landofhopeandglory will also have their supporters, while Just Get Cracking has gained all three previous wins at Tramore.
