Formscan By Michael Graham - Not all of the 'shorties' are going to win but APPRECIATE IT is one I wouldn't be opposing. He was the subject of a lot of praise from Willie Mullins' assistant trainer David Casey at a recent Cheltenham preview night. Casey mentioned that he is a very, very laid-back horse which will be a huge help in this race. He also said he has pace and stamina and should come up the hill and take a lot of beating. The son of Jeremy was dynamite in a Grade 2 bumper at Leopardstown in easily routing the opposition by seven and a half lengths. The horse in second, Risk Factor, is decent and the way Appreciate It tanked clear in the final furlong put him in many notebooks for Cheltenham. Mullins' Ferny Hollow has plenty of talent but can run too keen, so comes with risks. Gordon Elliott's Queens Brook looks to have a big engine based on her 21-length victory in a mares' bumper at Gowran Park last month. Visually it was a very taking performance as she drew further and further clear. She could be one for each-way players. Israel Champ has already scored over course and distance and has been put away for this after winning a Listed bumper from the front at Ascot in December.
