Formscan By Donal Murphy - The amazing TIGER ROLL should prove tough to beat. Bidding for an unprecedented fourth success at the Festival, the popular nine-year-old showed his well-being by comfortably winning a Grade 2 over flights at Navan last month. Of course he landed the most prestigious contest in National Hunt racing last season, when winning the Grand National, and it’s highly likely that a return to Aintree to defend his crown will be next on the agenda after this assignment. French raider Urgent De Gregaine will bid to go one place better than twelve months ago. He pulled up on his sole start since at Auteuil in October, but he seems to act well around Cheltenham, and should give a good account of himself here. Enda Bolger saddles leading contenders in the shape of Auvergnat and Josies Orders. The former won the La Touche Cup at Punchestown last season, and has already scooped a big pot this campaign, taking the Paddy Power Handicap Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas. Josies Orders is a four time course and distance winner, and warrants the utmost respect, while others for the shortlist are Tea For Two, Hurricane Darwin, Fact Of The Matter and Amazing Comedy.
