The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Liteman trained by Diego Dias was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii)
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that J.S. Dalton, rider of Shafters Legacy, weighed in at 1.4lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he was asked to provide a shorter over girth which he felt may have contributed to the overweight and apologised for the matter. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.S. Dalton was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his clean record, they cautioned him on this occasion
Jessica O'Gorman, rider of Best Love, trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount went right from the gates which caused her to get unseated. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the vide footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
