He finished fourth of four against a very, very good horse then, so I don't know why people didn't see that today. Leigh was very impressed, he said the runner-up came to him and he put his head down. The way he ran out, he will get further and is a nice horse going forward. The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Jack The Bachelor, ridden by J
Kearney, unplaced, and Sup Of Red, ridden by R. Coakley, unplaced, where it appeared Sup Of Red may have clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Coakley stated that his mount was leaning right up the straight causing him to run up on heels. J. Kearney stated that he slightly angled out for his run. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
