The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Freddie Robdal, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Henry De Bromhead, trainer, through his Authorised Representative stated that Freddie Robdal runs best fresh and the one hundred day break between runs helped to contribute to the apparent improvement in form. The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the third last fence where it appeared Cayd Boy (FR), ridden by A.P. Kelly, clipped a heel. Having viewed the footage the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Three In A Row, ridden by D. Meyler, having to manouvere around Natural Breeze who was pulling up suddenly and were satisfied that no further action was warranted
Rachael Blackmore, rider of Garde La Peche (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was accidently hampered on the home bend
P.K. Donovan, rider of Island McCoo, trained by Darren Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last fence
