The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr P.J. O'Neill, rider of Tullyhogue Fort, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. P.J. O'Neill was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for three racedays
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend leaving the back straight involving Person Of Interest, ridden by P. Hanlon, Meehall, ridden by P.M. O'Brien, and God Help Us, ridden by S.D. Torrens where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. Hanlon stated that he received pressure from both sides and was forced to check. P.M. O'Brien stated that he felt he kept his racing line. S.D
Torrens stated that he felt he kept his racing line and left sufficient room for the horse inside him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Person Of Interest, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
