The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Certavi Et Vici, ridden by Mr F.R. Buckley, placed third, and Shuil Solas, ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr F. R. Buckley stated that he received contact from the horse on his outside and it may have cost him second. Mr D. O'Connor stated that he maintained his line and the horse on his inside was pushing out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.
An I.N.H. flat race for four years old and upwards mares only that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles) that are EBF eligible Weights - 4-y-o 11st 9lbs 5-y-o and up 11st 11lbs. Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 21st September) may also ride in this race. (The winning owner of this race will receive a €5000 bonus (€7500 bonus if Irish bred and has not previously won a bonus payment in an Academy Hurdle) should the winning filly be eligible for the Weatherbys Ireland/I.T.B.A. N.H.
