C. Cusack, rider of Enchanted Lady (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tightened on the bend
Sadhbh Tormey, rider of Chosen One, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount leaned right up the home straight
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around the five furlong marker involving Enchanted Lady (GB), ridden by C. Cusack and Lough Leane, ridden by A. Browne-Souza, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. Cusack stated that where the railing comes out slightly on the bend he let out a shout before things got tight and that contact was made. A. Browne-Souza stated that his mount was hanging slightly right but he felt there was no contact and believed he was clear of Enchanted Lady (GB). Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A. Browne-Souza was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
