An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong out, involving Photosynthesis (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by P J McDonald, Saint Lawrence (IRE), placed second, ridden by Kevin Stott, Brosay (GB), unplaced, ridden by Sean Levey, and Elements Of Fire (GB), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
The interference was found to be accidental as Saint Lawrence (IRE) hung left-handed despite Stott’s best efforts, and drifted left-handed at the same time as Photosynthesis (IRE) had edged marginally right-handed, resulting in Elements Of Fire (GB) and Brosay (GB) becoming momentarily short for room.
