An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving the winner, Strike Red (IRE), ridden by Warren Fentiman, Berkshire Whisper (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Jason Watson, Russet Gold (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Kevin Stott and Betsen (GB), unplaced, ridden by Ray Dawson.
The interference was found to be accidental as Strike Red (IRE) shifted slightly right- handed intimidating Berkshire Whisper (IRE) off its intended line, which in turn moved Russet Gold (GB) off its intended line, resulting in Dawson taking a check aboard Betsen (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Annaf (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Harry Davies, Ten Pounds (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Finley Marsh and Fast Track Harry (GB), unplaced, ridden by Rob Hornby.
Davies was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed Annaf (IRE) to hang right-handed without timely correction taking Ten Pounds (IRE) slightly off its intended line, which in turn made brief contact with Fast Track Harry (GB).
