The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident towards the end of the back straight involving Annarubyrose, ridden by Mr E. Finegan, Boogie On Down, ridden by Mr Alan O'Sullivan, and Woodland Adventure, ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, where it appeared Boggie On Down ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned
Mr. E. Finnegan stated that he was racing wide with the entire field and he had to move in slightly to avoid a wing
Mr. Alan O'Sullivan confirmed that he clipped a heel when he had to move in slightly to avoid a wing. Mr. H.C Swan stated that he maintained his racing line and was unaware of the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
