The Raceday Stewards granted a request from P.W. Flynn, Trainer of Gooddayatblackrock for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident before the home bend involving Tahcawin, ridden by G.F
Carroll, and Lake Swan (GB), ridden by R. Whearty, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Whearty stated that his filly raced awkwardly and only felt slight pressure from his right. G.F. Carroll stated that he manouvered from behind runners and felt he was clear. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
N.M. Crosse, rider of Sanctijude, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout
M.W Hassett, rider of Wipeawayyourtears, trained by Michael Butler, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the first bend involving Idiocracy, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, and Tenacious, ridden by K.G. Kennedy, where it appeared some horses didn't round the first bend very well. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
