The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, that L.T. McAteer, rider of The Holy Apostle, had presented to weigh out at 2lbs overweight, none of which had been declared at declaration time
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed L. T. McAteer to ride The Holy Apostle on this occasion but they were satisfied that he was in breach of Rule 198 (vii)(a) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards fined L. T. McAteer €150 on this occasion. Mr. T. Breen was absent for this enquiry and Ms. M
